What is a Senior Lifeguard?

The Senior Lifeguard is a lifeguard in a supervisory position. He or she reports directly to the Lifeguard Superintendent. The Senior is responsible for the day to day running of the beach and for the actions of the lifeguards under him or her on any given day. He or she has a key role in developing the team and setting it goals for any given day.
